Area meetings:
- oversee and support local meetings
- appoint people to positions of responsibility, such as eldership and pastoral care
- are responsible for conducting Quaker marriages, recording deaths, employing staff, owning property, and managing finances
- communicate on behalf of local Quakers with Meeting for Sufferings and Yearly Meeting.

Area meetings are usually held at local meeting houses.
There is a list of area meetings on this site which shows some email addresses and websites.
If you need to contact a specific role holder or individual, you can contact staff at updates@quaker.org.uk, and they can forward emails. However, they cannot give out individuals' contact details.
