You can learn about the formal structure of organisation on the Our structure pages.
Quaker Recognised Bodies reflect some of the many interests and concerns that Quakers follow as part of their wider commitment to their faith. These bodies need to fulfil some criteria to become 'recognised' by Britain Yearly Meeting.
There are also lots of groups and Quaker organisations that are independent from Britain Yearly Meeting. They can be educational, recreational and some help Quakers in Britain connect to the wider world. This list is by no means exhaustive, but contains many of the organisations we are asked to connect Quakers and others with.
The list of area meetings previously on this page is still available. Information about local and area meetings including how to contact them can be found on the local meetings and area meetings pages.
