This year Quakers in Britain is an associate at Greenbelt festival of arts, faith and justice. We're hosting discussions and kite-making workshops as well as storytelling, songs, panel debates and meetings for worship in the Quaker dome.

More than three hundred young Quakers have contributed to a book summing up how they see Quakerism. Called Living our beliefs, it is available from the Quaker Centre Bookshop and as an ebook at www.yqspace.org.uk/living-our-beliefs. Quakers stand by #Stansted15
Peaceful protesters, known as the #Stansted15, have been sentenced for endangering safety at aerodromes. Three of them were given nine month sentences suspended for 18 months and ordered to carry out unpaid work. Eleven defendants were given community orders and must carry out 100 hours' unpaid work. One was given rehabilitation activity. Quakers are supporting the group who say their nonviolent direct action was in defence of human rights.
