What can you expect from YM on 18 July?

The full agenda is now available here.

We expect to spend time on:

  • Considering new ways into membership for those Quakers who are not part of a local meeting
  • An introduction to reparation for British Quakers' historical involvement in enslavement and colonialism
  • Reports from Britain Yearly Meeting Trustees & Agenda Planning Committee
  • Dates for Yearly Meeting sessions in 2029
  • A meeting for worship to uphold Friends who are suffering for their faith

The agenda contains links to various background documents that you may want to read to help you prepare for the session.

There's still time to prepare for YM with Friends in your meeting – see our document with suggestions for how to talk about new ways into membership.

If you are joining online you will find the Zoom link via Sched (it will appear around 10 minutes before the start of the session as usual).

If you are coming to the venue, you can read more about the facilities and how to get there here.

Lunch at the venue is only available to those who pre-ordered, but don't worry if you didn't manage to do that. There are several shops and cafes within 5 minutes' walk of the venue and you are also welcome to bring your own food to eat.
