CGAG May and June 2026

Church Government Advisory Group (CGAG) was pleased that the changes to Quaker faith & practice that were agreed at Yearly Meeting in May have been included in the online version on Quaker faith & practice

What is this group responsible for?

Church Government Advisory Group (CGAG) recommends to Yearly Meeting any changes needed to the text of Quaker faith & practice to keep it up to date in the way it describes how our Yearly Meeting is organised. It does not have responsibility for the chapters that describe our faith.

What did it do at this meeting?

The group started looking at future required changes to Quaker faith & practice, to reflect they laying down of Quaker Life Rep Council, changes to the way that Crynwyr Cymru – Quakers in Wales is described, and reviewing the changes agreed at Yearly Meeting in case there are any remaining references to Meeting for Sufferings that need removing.
