What is this committee responsible for?

Agenda Planning Committee is responsible for planning the agenda for Yearly Meeting sessions. Agenda Planning Committee has been working since June 2025 to prepare for the transition to the new system for Yearly Meetings, which sees Yearly Meeting sessions happening up to four times per year.

The first event which APC was responsible for was held in Manchester on 18th July. The next Yearly Meeting session will take place on Saturday 20th November 2026, at Friends House, London.

What did it do at this meeting?

In July 2026, APC began its evaluation of the first Yearly Meeting session in the new system. Additionally, it agreed terms of reference for a review of Yearly Meeting eldership and pastoral care which will begin in 2027, and developed the agenda for the Yearly Meeting session in November. This will be finalised and communicated later in the Autumn.
