Published by Quakers in Britain, daily posts on White Feather Diaries website (website no longer available) feature five Quakers who bring alive their courage and the cost of following their conscience as the horror of World War I envelops their lives.
Diarists tell the stories of conscientious objectors who said No to war.

White poppies and remembrance

In the run up to Remembrance Day Quakers, along with many others, will be wearing white poppies. Some choose to wear both red and white poppies.

In national Quaker Week, Quakers in Britain are protesting against the use of military drones. Saying that all life is sacred, Quakers hold that drones devalue human life and undermine international law.

Welfare reform will hit the poorest hardest
