Do Quakers model spirit-led ethical employment practices?
Does your local or area meeting employ people to help the Quaker community? If so – are you ethical employers?
Do you demonstrate a commitment to employee well-being and work-life balance? Are your decision-making processes transparent? Do you ensure fair and equitable pay and benefits?
Do your practices align with Quaker values and do you ensure employees are treated with dignity and respect? Are you, as modelled by the Quaker industrialists of the past, practicing a spirit-led approach?
If you'd like to test some of these questions with others then join us for a special day in Darlington on June 9, to help us explore whether we are ethical employers, and if not, how serious are the consequences?
To join in person, there is a fee of £25 to cover the costs of facilitating the day. This includes light refreshments. To join in person, please book here.
It's also possible to join online from 2pm-3:30pm. Join the session here.
Please bring a packed lunch. Alternatively, Darlington Meeting House is in a central position with shops and cafés nearby.
We really look forward to seeing you for this important day of exploration and learning.
