History of Quakers
Quaker Concern for Animals
An active group aiming to add a Quakerly voice to the animal advocacy movement. We also support many animal welfare organisations with donations, both here and abroad. We work with Friends overseas and very much value our ecumenical and interfaith links.
Quakers and Business Group
Promoting Quaker values in business and the workplace. They are a voice and network for those whose experience is that integrity in business and the workplace matters. Members are active in, or retired from, business of all types including for-profit, non-profit and anywhere in-between.
Who our partners are
We believe that together we can raise a stronger voice against injustice. EAPPI in the UK and Ireland is coordinated by Quaker Peace & Social Witness (QPSW) on behalf of a number of UK and Irish churches and church-related organisations. We call them our partners.

Nonviolent change in Rwanda
Bryn Higgs, East Africa Programme Manager, undertook a monitoring trip to Rwanda in October 2016. Quaker Peace & Social Witness supports local groups and trainers there to work on nonviolent social change. The work aims to expand and deepen the influence and ability of grassroots peace activists to change the core conditions that lead to violent conflict.
