Young Quakers breathe life into their beliefs

More than three hundred young Quakers have contributed to a book summing up how they see Quakerism. Called Living our beliefs, it is available from the Quaker Centre Bookshop and as an ebook at www.yqspace.org.uk/living-our-beliefs. When Quakers built Hertford Meeting House in 1670 they were more likely to be persecuted than praised for their style of building. This week it is one of 17 Quaker meeting houses to be listed or upgraded and preserved for the nation by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) on the advice of Historic England.
