Understanding Quaker Meetings

26 February 2026, Online

This session explores how a Quaker meeting functions. Together we'll look at roles, committees and groups understand their purpose within worship and business, and see how a single meeting fits into the wider Quaker community.

We will consider how meetings grew into the structures they are today and reflect on how they might be simplified. Participants will gain insight into how a single Quaker meeting works in practice and how it forms part of the broader Yearly Meeting structure.
