We are delighted to welcome highly gifted young British violinist Benjamin Baker for his first appearance in the Festival. Benjamin won 1st Prize at the 2016 Young Concert Artists auditions in New York, as well as at the 'sister' competition (YCAT) in London in 2013. Benjamin has constructed a fascinating and hugely demanding unaccompanied programme - for which he is establishing a reputation - pairing three Baroque works by Bach, interwoven with two solo violin works by giants of the modern era - Ysaÿe & Kurtag. Please note there is an 'encore' performance on Tuesday 11 June
