Treasurership in a Nutshell

30 November 2024, Online

Are you about to be or have just become a Quaker Treasurer? This one-day session will provide clear information about what being a Quaker Treasurer entails and cover the basics of how to carry out your role well.

Join our lively and informal course – and discover the 'fun' in the fundamentals of being a Treasurer! Your facilitators have a wide experience of Treasurership in a variety of contexts.

A lifelong Quaker, Wendrie Heywood is an experienced treasurer and coffee drinker. For over a decade, she has supported and trained treasurers, clerks and trustees. Oliver Waterhouse is a Team Leader in the Quaker Life staff team, and supports good Quaker governance locally. Away from paid work he is a treasurer and a trustee. They are both keen to support, share and assist you in your new undertaking.

A Resource Page is available to support this course. The link will be emailed to participants a week in advance, with instructions on pre-reading and tasks. You should allow about 2 hours for these activities. Further resources and information will be made available after the course ends. These can be accessed for up to a month.
