Scotland Yard Meeting for Worship
17 March 2026, London
On Thursday 5 March, the police raided Westminster Quaker Meeting House. Again.
Our response has to be the same.
Last year at almost the same date, 400 Quakers and supporters made their meetings on the matter known, loud and clear in a silent Meeting for Worship at New Scotland Yard.
We are returning to New Scotland Yard on Tuesday 17 March at 11:45 to 12:45. Meeting at the south end of Embankment Gardens at 11:15 and starting the meeting for worship at New Scotland Yard for 11:45
You may also join online from 11:45 on Zoom. Please register here to receive the Zoom link.
We will then move on the Mass Lobby of Parliament on the right to protest at Parliament at 14:00. Find out more about the mass lobby.
We need stewards and elders to ensure the meeting is safe and well-held. Please let us know here if you could help.
Please do join us and spread the word. There's a warm welcome to people of all faiths or none - whatever your beliefs, we can all come together in solidarity with those who stand for truth and integrity.
Quakers worship in silence and as a Quaker Meeting for Worship, this is the practice we'll be sharing in. If you'd like more information about what a Meeting for Worship is like, you can find some information here.
Join us in responding to police aggression with love and peace.
