Resilient Communities: Cultures of Care - Inner Transformation

5 March 2025, Online

Join us for an experiential exploration of what it means to build more resilient, caring cultures—both within our communities and within ourselves.

This session is one of two exploring 'Resilient Communities: Cultures of Care'. The sessions are a chance to explore what it means to cultivate more resilient caring cultures both outwardly amongst our communities and inwardly to resource ourselves and how these impact and intersect. Each session is designed to stand alone, though participating in both will provide a deeper, more connected experience.

This session is focused on cultivating foundational inner transformation for spirit-led witness. We'll begin with elements of a resilient inner life, recognising that having a spiritual and embodied foundation for our own emotions and wellbeing is a vital part of building creative, loving communities.

Our Quaker communities can be safe spaces while also challenging us to bring forward our gifts and sense of calling for the world. Doing our own work as individuals is essential, helping us bring clarity, energy, and a grounded presence to the groups and communities we serve. We will sample embodied practices and have space to reflect and share together.

Handouts of various embodied and nature-based practices will be shared with the option for participants to explore further between sessions, or as an introduction to part two for those who miss part one. We look forward to welcoming you to this timely exploration!
