AWARD WINNING DOCUMENTARY: 'Beyond Forgiving'

Thursday 15 October, 19:30

Inspiring story of reconciliation between two South Africans, post Apartheid.

Two South Africans, Ginn Fourie and Letlapa Mphahlele - a white Christian woman and a black atheist man - have both been victims and risen beyond their pain: one has suffered directly from the actions of the other during apartheid. The film's producer is Howard Grace who lived in South Africa for some years during the time of apartheid and returned after 34 years to tell this story. Its director is Imad Karam, a Palestinian Muslim from Gaza, who recognised a parallel between apartheid and the current situation in Palestine.

The film will be followed by a brief silent reflection, leading into discussion led by the film's producer Howard Grace. Doors open for viewing exhibition at 18:45.

All welcome and free.
