Quaker Visions of God

What treasures do Friends have when speaking about God? What stories help or hinder us in our spiritual journey? This course explores diverse visions of God found in Liberal Quaker communities. Each session offers Friends stories, images and tools for deepening their relationship with the Spirit. In particular, learners will have the opportunity to explore the different ways personal biography impacts people's theological reflection and spiritual development. This course is structured around four figures and their distinctive theologies:

The goal of this course is to deepen and enlarge participants' appreciation of theological sources, practices and themes. Friends will be encouraged to find in their own biographies the seeds of renewed spiritual growth and self-discovery.
