Quaker Trusteeship in a Nutshell

15 November 2025, Online

Are you a new or relatively new Quaker Trustee - or looking to increase confidence in carrying out your role within in a Quaker setting? Join us to explore the role of Trustee with a focus on both its spiritual grounding and practical responsibilities.

In considering how Trustees can best serve our meetings and communities, we will discuss what God requires of us and what the law requires. We will be informed by good practice for charities and led by how these fit with Quaker practice. We will look at how best to forge links between local and area meetings and trustees.

This course will be of benefit to new and less experienced Trustees, as well as those returning to or considering taking up a Trusteeship role. You will gain confidence and understanding in your role through accessible information and interactive learning.

This online one-day course is led by two tutors with extensive experience of Quaker Trusteeship in a variety of contexts and roles.
