Facilitation and Leadership: 2021
15 - 17 October 2021, Birmingham
An event for 16 to 21 year olds: Woodbrooke working in partnership with Quakers in Britain.
This is a great opportunity for young Quakers who want to facilitate activities for other young Quakers. You'll have the chance to try out practical skills as well as learn about groups and being a facilitator.
“I expected to develop skills to facilitate and I think I have as I now know more methods..."
We will look at how to build community in groups we're part of and how to reflect Quaker beliefs, values and practices in our facilitation. The event is open to people new to facilitation and those with previous experience.
Cost: £125 (includes food and accomodation). Bursaries are available to assist with the cost of attending for those who require assistance (please email Cat at catw@quaker.org.uk)
Bookings: The closing date for bookings is Sunday 3 October. If you would like to come you need to apply by completing the online form and indicating that you will uphold the community agreement.
Please read the leaflet "providing information about participant needs" for more details about why we ask for this information. The participant should read the Community agreement and indicate at the end of the application form that they will uphold this during the event.
