Climate Justice As Radical Peacemaking

Following Britain Yearly Meeting's exploration of 'Radical Peacemaking', three international speakers will help us examine the deep links between militarism and climate breakdown—and consider how we might respond. Re-envisioning these challenges is essential to building a safer, fairer world.

Join us to explore questions such as:

  • How are militarism and climate breakdown intertwined?
  • What are the connections between the Quaker testimonies to peace and sustainability?
  • How can we work for peace and climate justice in an interconnected way that strengthens our witness and our faith?

Our three international speakers will offer inspirational examples of campaigns linking the issues:

Following on from the exploration of radical peacemaking at Britain Yearly Meeting 2025, this introductory space will help us begin exploring how we can live our commitments to peace and sustainability, and what it means for us individually and as a faith community.
