Being an anti-racist faith community

Learning from other churches and faiths about the journey towards Racial Justice. A webinar organised by Quaker Committee for Christian and Interfaith Relations.

A gathering for those interested in learning from, and working with, other churches and faiths towards Racial Justice.

Britain Yearly Meeting is committed to becoming an Anti-Racist Faith Community. How can we grow inclusion and diversity and address the wrongs and hurts of the past?

Mirella Yandoli is Officer for Interfaith, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Racial Justice for the Church of Scotland. She will offer an overview of their racial justice projects.

Richard Reddie is Director of Justice and Inclusion for Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. He edited the book Race for Justice: the struggle for equality and inclusion in British and Irish Churches published in August 2022.

Ann Morgan represents Friends on the European Churches Roundtable on Legacies of Slavery.

Mustafa Field is Director of the Faiths Forum for London.

Janet Scott of the Quaker Committee for Christian and Interfaith Relations will share her experience working with local SACRE groups on Religious Education which has led to the promotion of Racial Justice.
