Being a Quaker Trustee

Are you a new or less experienced Area Meeting Trustee? Are you established and seeking inspiration? Join our 4-week online course for easy-to-understand information and enjoyable learning to make trusteeship approachable and rewarding for you.
We will ensure that all we do is underpinned by the spiritual question of what trusteeship means within Quakers. We will balance this with being factual and practical. We will explore together the questions of 'What does God require of us? What does the law require? What is considered good practice for charities? How does this fit with Quaker good practice?'
We will spend time looking at how trustees, area meetings and local meetings relate to each other. We will consider how trustees can best serve our meetings.
Live sessions will take place on Zoom at 19:00-20:30 (UK time) on Wednesdays 11 December, 18 December 2024, 8 January and 15 January 2025
