Acting for faith-based climate justice
3 May 2022, Online
Do you want to join with other Quakers to act on a commitment to faith-based climate justice? Do you want to find out and learn from what others are doing? We are stronger together. These monthly live sessions run by Woodbrooke and bookable individually are an opportunity to be together in spirit and to learn about different ways in which we can take action.
The sessions are open to all Quakers who are concerned about the climate crisis and want to take action in their personal lives and with others. We will deepen the spiritual grounding of this work, explore a particular theme or approach and have time to network with each other to learn and explore possibilities for working together. Resources from all the sessions will be made available to participants.
Themes will include: working in solidarity with those most affected, engaging our meetings, Quaker campaigning work, working with other churches and other faiths, working with Quakers across the world, creative approaches to awareness raising and protest, involving children and families.
