A Quaker Approach to Listening

Listening is the foundation of trust and co-operation. A good society cannot exist without it. This session will offer practical skills and new perspectives on how we can listen well and will explore how this relates to Quaker values and approaches.
There will be opportunities to listen in small groups and to explore the pros and cons of different approaches to listening. This session offers a chance to step into a world of affirmation, nurture and enquiry.
We will learn how to listen better and aim for more fruitful outcomes when encountering ideas and people we find difficult.
