Invitation to explore Quaker work with children and young people

This Saturday in Bolton, we are hosting a day to help Quakers across the Yearly Meeting think about working creatively with children and young people and families. This is first in a series of workshops, so look out on our events page for more across the country.

Drawing of an image with white mountain inscribed with 'look for the light' and a bright starry sky in a dark black night.
Image drawn by Mel during a recent creative Epilogue with music, that would work for all ages.

On this day, Bolton Meeting House will come alive with inspiration, including ideas for how to support children and young people to explore their spirituality, and how build multi-age community. This workshop is for those who already connect with children and young people in their Quaker community and also for those who would like to welcome more children and families in and are looking at ways to approach that.

The training and inspiration day will be delivered by Mel Cook, the national children and youth development worker alongside the Wendy Hampton, the Local Development Worker for the region and an experienced CYP (Children and Young People's) trainer who is part of the Quaker Life network of volunteers.
