The Quaker World: Quakers and Disability

This live session will explore Quaker approaches to disability among Evangelical and Liberal Friends. Oscar Lugusa Malande and Benjamin Wood will talk about their chapters on this theme in The Quaker World, edited by C. Wess Daniels and Rhiannon Grant.

The session will be hosted by Stuart Masters who is Woodbrooke's Programme Coordinator for History and Theology. Kenyan Friend, Oscar Lugusa Malande, will talk about his chapter, “Theological Foundations in Disability Issues: Evaluating the African Christian Quaker Experience." British Friend, Benjamin Wood, will speak about his chapter, “The Body is Enough: Towards a Liberal Quaker Theology of Disability."
