How Does the Quaker Business Method Work?

Quaker Business Method is cited by many as the reason they became a member of the Religious Society of Friends.

This session will help Friends understand how Quaker Meetings make decisions and conduct their business. It looks at the different responsibilities that Clerks, Elders and Pastoral Carers take on, and the roles of every member and attender in the meeting. We will unpack Quaker phrases and practices like discernment, finding the sense of the meeting and the role of ministry.

This session is not just for new Friends, it is valuable to Quakers, seasoned and not, to invest time in consideration of what could be considered basic practices in order for us to keep working smoothly as a community and to be the change we want to see in the world.
