Woke Bible Study Do women have to keep silent

For millennia, a few Bible verses have been used to claim that women may not preach or speak in church. What do those Bible verses actually say? This session will look at some of these challenging verses about women's roles, and place them in context.
We will reflect on short passages from the New Testament with others, including through conversation in small groups. This session is led by Ashley M. Wilcox, author of The Women's Lectionary: Preaching the Women of the Bible throughout the Year (Westminster John Knox Press, 2021).
