Time with the Texts: Fox 400
2 - 4 February 2024, Ilkley
This course will allow participants to engage with critical moments in Quaker history through the writings of key thinkers including founder George Fox. What can we learn from the past about how we can navigate challenges facing Quakerism today?
Working with the texts will allow us to really engage with Quaker faith across time and better understand how the Quaker way has adapted and changed to different social circumstances and different internal perspectives of what it is to be a Friend.
The course begins on Friday with the evening meal and ends with lunch on Sunday.
