No Faith in War Day

Quaker Roots are calling on Friends to Witness at the 'No Faith in War Day' which is held to protest against the DSEI arms fair which is being held in London in September.
In order to be impactful and supportive Quaker Roots are asking Friends to let their lives speak: for themselves, for God and for those who are silenced due to the arms trade.
It will be a multi-faith event involving Friends and those of other religions holding space to witness before the opening of the DSEI Arms Fair (Tuesday 12 September).
Quaker Roots are planning several times for Quaker worship on the day:
Meeting for Worship - 9am
Meeting for Worship - 1pm If you can only make it for part of the day, 1pm is the key time to aim for. Friends can arrive in Elizabeth Fry room, Friends House, between 10am - 12pm to travel over together.
Epilogue - 5pm
The event will be as accessible as possible. Quaker Roots, along with QPSW (Quaker Peace & Social Witness) and STAF (Stop the Arms Fair) are in the process of organising toilets, a food stall and a pastoral care tent. If you are aware of any other needs you may have please let us know.
For the day to be successful we need Friends, and lots of them. Friends to offer help, Friends to offer practicalities, Friends to join Quaker Roots in organising, Eldering, holding activities (banner making, songs, etc.).
