Loving Earth Day at Friends House

Opportunities to nurture your spirit, learn, enjoy textile artworks, and meet friends while engaging with the climate and nature crisis. Come for the day or just pop in for a visit.
The Quaker Centre will be open from 8am to 4pm this Saturday for people to explore the Loving Earth community textile exhibition in the downstairs corridors at Friends House, spend time in the Quaker Bookshop and savour the delights of the Seed Café.
Two free interactive workshops are also options; these require advance booking:
Climate Fresk at 10 am, about the science of climate change, and
Active Hope at 2pm : to help participants acknowledge the grief and fear that the ecological crisis creates for us, and to discover opportunities for positive transformation
