Clerking in a Nutshell

Are you a new, recent or returning Quaker Clerk? In this one-day course, we share clear information about what Clerking entails and provide pointers to becoming a better clerk.
Whether you would appreciate some clear guidance on clerking a Business Meeting or are looking for support in how to be best organised, this course will be of use. It could also be good revision if you're taking on the role again after a gap.
Delivered via Zoom, the sessions will be facilitated by two experienced Clerks. There will be time as a whole group as well as a chance to share with each other in smaller break out groups.
This session isn't intended to replace our longer, more detailed Clerking course which will run again in early 2024. Participants on this course will be encouraged to undertake the longer course for a more in-depth exploration of the role of Quaker Clerk.
