Back to Catalogue: Directory of services: Overview

Working in a variety of settings, including prisons, universities and hospitals, Quaker chaplains offer friendship and spiritual advice to people of all faiths and none. They often minister to the most vulnerable in society, such as those without the support of friends and family.

Quaker Life supports and seeks to strengthen Quaker chaplaincy by providing information, training, conferences, and opportunities for development and networking.

This page is intended to complement information provided in the Directory of services. There is also a specific section on this website related to the role of a Chaplain.

You can download a PDF of the 'Directory of services: Chaplains'. This is a copy of this section as printed in May 2016 and so may be out of date. The web pages are kept up to date on an ongoing basis and the printed copies are updated every two years.
